London Development Centre tackles issues surrounding the provision of care for mental health patients in London.

In 2005 they asked Ichemeleon to assist with solving technical issues that prevented many of their 6,000+ subscribers from viewing their monthly email newsletters.

Ichameleon audited their existing system, and recognised that it failed privacy legislation. So at no extra cost we implemented the newsletter management tool from our own Treeline Content Management System, and hosted the newsletter functions for free.

Features of the solution include:

  • London Development Centre can build, manage and publish their own HTML email newsletters.
  • The system provides functions to allow subscribers to manage their own preferences, and brings London Development Centre's communications withint he Data Protection Act.
  • System administrators can view or edit subscriber information via the secure Content Management System.
  • The entire subscriber database can be downloaded as a .CSV file, for use in external databases.
Ichameleon worked closely with London Development Centre to establish the exact requirements of the project, including ensuring the visual design of the newsletters complied with the brand guidelines of the CSIP (Care Services Improvement Partnership), of which London Development Centre is a part.
