ActionAid International: Site design
In December 2003 the head office of ActionAid moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, where they began the process of making their country programmes equal partners with an equal say in how ActionAid operates.
Ichameleon were commissioned to design and build a distinctive website, capturing the spirit and energy of the new International office.
Our design went beyond the visual, developing a structure that was flexible enough to allow ActionAid's staff to quickly communicate new initiatives and ideas.
Working to tight deadlines we created a site and Content Management System based on the one successfully developed for ActionAid's UK office. This allowed non-technical staff to manage their own content, creating pages within minutes.
